Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised Team India for their remarkable victory in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy.

India's cricket team secured their third ICC Champions Trophy title with a thrilling four-wicket victory over New Zealand in the final at Dubai on Sunday.

New Zealand's Rachin Ravindra became the top run-scorer of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in the final against India.

Mohammed Shami picked up three wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja and Varun Chakaravarthy claimed two each as India bowled out Australia for 264 in 49.3 overs in the ICC Champions Trophy semi-final.

India will face arch-rivals Pakistan in a much-anticipated ICC Champions Trophy match at Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, February 23.
