Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, spoke to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharje and enquired about his health as Rajya Sabha MP fell ill during an election rally in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Mishra criticized the state government for its handling of crime, citing a 55% increase in crimes against women since 2017

The Congress also committed to prioritizing domicile residents of J&K for government jobs
