A wave of hoax threats has raised concerns about passenger safety on flights, prompting security responses from airlines and authorities.

The minister stated that the government aims to not only meet the needs of Indian airlines but also attract international carriers to use India's MRO services

India's Union Civil Aviation Minister, Jyotiraditya Scindia, predicts a surge in domestic air passengers to 300 million annually by 2030 from 153 million in 2023.

Scindia said, "In the last nine years, our government has not only connected the deprived and exploited people with the mainstream but has also empowered them."
