Atishi

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday said that the only person who has fooled Atishi is Arvind Kejriwal.

According to Atishi, she was personally approached to join the BJP as a means to safeguard her political career.

AAP had dismissed these allegations yesterday, with party sources suggesting that the investigation is biased, being conducted with a political agenda from the BJP office.

AAP raised concerns over the alleged sealing of their Delhi office, calling for intervention from the Election Commission to ensure fair play during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

The initial accusations were made on January 27, alleging the BJP's attempt to entice AAP MLAs with ₹25 crore each and a ticket for the upcoming assembly polls.

The Public Works Department (PWD) Minister, Atishi, has given the green light to a road strengthening project aimed at revamping three roads in East Delhi, according to an official statement released on Sunday.

Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain resigned from their positions in the Arvind Kejriwal-led Cabinet after being arrested.

Heaping praise on AAP volunteers, Kejriwal said, "The people of my constituency are all praise for our government as much as they are for our party's volunteers. Our volunteers don't come with any political background..."

Singh and his associates were allegedly involved in Delhi government's decision to grant licences to alcohol retailers and merchants in 2020 resulted in losses for the state exchequer and violated anti-corruption laws, the agency stated.

Mr Sisodia continued to speak up until the policeman grabbed him by the neck and hauled him away.
