Ashes

A proposal has been submitted to transfer the ashes of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad, a prominent Indian freedom fighter, from the Lucknow Museum to Prayagraj.

Australia players experienced verbal abuse once more during the Ashes series, nearly three weeks after the infamous Lord's Long Room incident.

With Australia struggling at 85/4 on Day 1 after being put into bat by England captain Ben Stokes, Marsh, who took over for the injured Cameron Green for the third Test, slammed 118 runs.

Ian Bell was surprised by the verdict because he may have believed the ball had reached the boundary line. Indian players and both English batters left the field after Bell was run out.

The Australian wicketkeeper then admitted that Smith and Kohli had criticized his choice of shot because the reversal had already caused him trouble in India.

The Australian opener, much like he was on the second day, was an immovable force of defiance, dampening the swing and seam of James Anderson and Stuart Broad, taming the rage of Ollie Robinson, and stifling the sharp spin of Moeen Ali.

To achieve this feat, Anderson cleaned up Alex Carey who was well set on 66 before getting undone by the English bowler.
