This is Madhya Pradesh where Diwali will not be flightless for the orphans in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan shared the happiness of Diwali with the children. The CM also sang songs danced and had fun with the kids in his residence.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that colors of happiness will be filled in the lives of children who lost their parents due to Kovid or other reasons. While the state government implemented “Mukhyamantri Kovid-19 Bal Seva Yojna” to provide financial assistance per month to such children below the age of 18 years, many children were not eligible even after getting the benefit of this scheme. . Mukhyamantri Bal Ashirwad Yojana has been started for the care and protection of such children.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is my duty as the first servant of the state to participate in festivals with such children so that children can forget the sad moments of life by celebrating these festivals with joy. Chief Minister Chouhan said that I want children to keep their smiles and have a bright future. The state government is working for this purpose. The CM celebrated Deepawali at the Chief Minister’s residence with the children who lost their parents during the Kovid period in the Deepotsav-2022 program today.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Mukhya Mantri Bal Ashirwad Yojana has been prepared for such sons and daughters, which will be useful for the higher education and career of these children. The scheme will increase the self-confidence of the children. The CM said that children’s sports and cultural competitions would also be held. The best performing children will be awarded prizes. Those who perform well in their studies will also be rewarded. CM Chauhan gave instructions to the Additional Chief Secretary, of the Women and Child Development Department, Ashok Shah in this regard. Chief Minister Shivraj mentioned that instructions have been given to all the collectors of the state regarding the implementation of Mukhyamantri Bal Ashirwad Yojna.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that if these children are admitted to medical or engineering colleges, then the government will make arrangements to pay their fees. The Department of Women and Child Development will take full care of the children. Instructions have been given to the officials in this regard till the district level. No eligible child will be deprived of the benefits of the scheme.

The Chief Minister told the children, – ”You are not alone, we are with you.’ Shivraj Singh Chauhan promised that the children who have lost their parents in Kovid, will be provided with full care. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the children were asked to work hard and study well. Even if your admission is done to any college, do not worry about the fees, the government will pay the fees. Life cannot go on stopping. Forget what has passed and take inspiration to move on. We should not panic. Life never stops. The cross is the one who walks in the journey. Madhya Pradesh government is with such children. Won’t let you be alone any moment.

‘Chief Minister’s Child Ashirwad Scheme’ at a glance

Such children, who are eighteen years old and released from childcare institutions, will be benefited from this scheme by the Madhya Pradesh government. Under the scheme, there is a provision to provide financial and educational support to boys and girls above the age of 18 years. Children residing continuously for five years including the year of the release date in childcare institutions under aftercare will be eligible. Under the sponsorship, orphan children below the age of 18 years, who are living under the care of relatives or guardians and do not qualify under the Mukhyamantri Kovid-19 Bal Seva Yojana, will be eligible. There is a provision of financial assistance of Rs 4,000 per month in sponsorship. In the assistance given in aftercare, employment will be made available by giving the benefit of the internship. During the period of internship, monthly assistance of Rs.5,000 will be given for a maximum period of one year.

There is also a provision for vocational training in the scheme. Free vocational training will be given in government institutions in polytechnic diploma, ITI, paramedical courses, nursing, hotel management, tourism, Prime Minister and Chief Minister’s skill development program. Rupees 5 thousand will be given every month for a maximum of two years during the training period. A provision has been made to bear the fees payable by the government to a certain extent for the children who have received education on the basis of entrance examinations in NEET, JEE, or CLAT, and Rs. 5 thousand per month have also been declared for livelihood expenses.

The State Government will bear the fees prescribed by the Fee Regulatory Commission for the duration of the course. Category-wise assistance to care leavers entering government and non-government institutions will be determined by a committee headed by the Chief Secretary. The Health Department will also make Ayushman cards for medical assistance. To take advantage of the scheme, the District Program Officer of the Women and Child Development Department has to be contacted.

Singer artists presented many songs on Deepotsav-2022 at the Chief Minister’s residence, on which Chief Minister Chouhan along with the children also rejoiced. The Chief Minister also danced with the children. Bam Bam Bhole… and Suno-Suno Ae Duniya Walo Buri Nazar Na Hum Par Dalo.. Jai Ho…, Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawan Ka… were among the popular songs sang in this occasion. The poetry written by Atal Bihari Vajpayee – Aao Phir Se Diya Jalayen, was much appreciated. .
