This Indian bowler ignored for South Africa tour, Ex-opener says that his career is “Not Looking Good”

There is a noticeable difference in the Indian lineups for the Tour of South Africa, which begins on December 10. For India, this is one of the first times that three captains will be playing in three different forms during a tour. While Suryakumar Yadav will captain the T20I series, Rohit Sharma will lead the Tests. For the ODI series, KL Rahul has been selected as the captain. In South Africa, India will play two Test matches, three ODIs, and three T20Is.

However, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was conspicuously absent from the team. In every format, the seasoned pacer was not selected.

“Neither you nor I will choose his professional path because we are not the ones who choose it, and who am I to declare when a career is over or how long it can go? Under the current circumstances, things don’t seem good. Aakash Chopra, the former opener for the Indian cricket team, stated on his YouTube channel that “it seems like a roadblock has come.”

“You’re not being given the chance. You had a respectable IPL and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, but you are not being selected for any team. They had long since resolved not to select him for ODIs, and they are now doing the same for T20Is.”

He continued by suggesting that the BCCI selection might have begun to consider younger bowlers.

There are possibilities, and it appears that the selectors have begun to look at different areas. The fact that there are always so many possibilities available in Indian cricket that you can choose to go with someone else is truly commendable,” he continued.

“So you forget about Umran Malik, with whom you played matches four months ago, together with Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan, Deepak Chahar, Arshdeep Singh, and Prasidh Krishna. Thus, this is Indian cricket as it really is. Thus, you obtain the idea regarding Bhuvi.”

Ashish Nehra, a former fast bowler for the Indian cricket team and current coach of the Gujarat Titans, added that, given the circumstances in South Africa, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was one spinner who might have been given a look-in.

The fact that the selectors chose three separate teams does not surprise me in the slightest. Almost everybody’s name has appeared. There may not be many players who are present or around whose names are not listed, according to what Times Now cited Ashish Nehra as saying to JioCinema.
