A technical issue with the local broadcaster SuperSport was the cause. It took a few minutes for it to take effect. David Miller, who was in form at the time, hit Jadeja for two sixes, but on the fourth ball there was a loud appeal for caught behind.
The Indians appeared confident and eager to accept the review, but the umpire shook his head and reminded them that DRS is still not available. Jadeja was the captain at the time and was heard questioning the umpire regarding the DRS while, Suryakumar was injured off the field.
