After winning the toss, Kolkata Knight Riders chose to bowl first, a move that received huge cheers from the large section of KKR supporters inside the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Delhi Capitals also made a few changes to their playing XI, including Mukesh Kumar and Vipraj Nigam, in an attempt to improve their recent performances and strengthen their struggling batting line-up.
The atmosphere turned louder during the team announcements, especially when names like Finn Allen, Sunil Narine, and Varun Chakaravarthy appeared on the big screen, with fans expecting a thrilling contest.
Delhi Capitals began positively through Pathum Nissanka and KL Rahul, but KKR gradually took control with disciplined bowling, sharp fielding, and excellent pressure during the middle overs.
KKR’s spin trio of Sunil Narine, Varun Chakaravarthy, and Anukul Roy controlled the middle overs brilliantly and restricted the Delhi Capitals to 142/8.

During KKR’s run chase, the night truly belonged to Finn Allen, whose breathtaking unbeaten century completely changed the mood inside the stadium.
The New Zealand batter smashed boundaries all around the ground and sent the KKR fans into celebration mode with his fearless strokeplay.
Every six from Allen brought thousands of supporters to their feet, while Cameron Green provided solid support from the other end.
Allen’s brilliant innings, featuring five boundaries and ten towering sixes, guided KKR to a comfortable chase of 143 with 35 deliveries remaining and secured the side’s fourth straight victory of the season.
