In our country, it is believed that god pairs everyone, then why do those pairs go abroad to start their new journey (of married life). Just like the 'Make in India' movement a 'Wed in India' movement should be started. At least one wedding from the family should be done in Uttarakhand as part of the destination wedding, to make Uttarakhand a destination wedding spot."

Supreme Court grants bail to Benoy Babu, Regional Manager of liquor manufacturing giant Pernod Ricard, in a money laundering case related to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam also involving AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh. The Top Court observes that trial in the case has not commenced and charges have not been framed. Supreme Court grants him bail noting that he is behind bars for 13 months and observes that ED cannot keep people in pre detention trial for so long.

Government banned exports of onion till March
The government has banned exports of onion till March next year to increase domestic availability and to keep prices in check. "Export policy of onions... is amended from free to prohibited till March 31, 2024," the Directorate General of Foreign Trade said in a notification.
