Special Commissioner of Police Delhi, HGS Dhaliwal says, " With the coordination of Special Cell of Delhi Police and Central agencies coordination, Javed Mattoo, who is A++category terrorist. There is a bounty of Rs 10 lakhs on him, he was arrested today. From his possession, a pistol, magazine and ek stolen vehicle were seized. After taking Police custody remand, further action will be taken. He was involved in 5 grenade attacks in J&K, he was also involved in the killing of 5 Police personnel in different incidents, dozens of Police personnel were injured in these incidents. He is one of the last surviving A++ designated terrorists who belongs to J&K."
Himachal Pradesh CM Appeals to Union Home Minister Amit Shah for Expedited Relief Funds
On meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu says, "When disaster struck the state, we requested relief from the central government, which we didn't get, but as per the rules of the central government, we were eligible for a claim called PDNA (Post-Disaster Needs Assessments). I met him (Union Home Minister Amit Shah) based on that and asked him to approve the claim for Rs 9,700 crore. I requested him to clear this as soon as possible."
Enforcement Directorate Raids Properties Linked to Ravi Raman, Seizes Assets Worth Rs. 850 Crore
ED conducted search operations under the provisions of the PMLA, 2002 on 28.12.2023 at 8 locations connected to Ravi Raman, promoter of R R Group, Chennai and also the Honorary Counsel to Mauritius. During the search operations, various incriminating documents, electronic devices, significant number of property deeds, documents having a value of more than Rs. 850 Crore and unaccounted cash of Rs. 74 lakhs have been recovered and seized.
ED Conducts PMLA Search Across Multiple States in Illegal Stone Mining Case; High-Ranking Officials’ Premises Raided
ED has conducted search operations under the provisions of the PMLA, 2002, on 03.01.2024 at 12 premises located in the States of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Bihar. The premises includes the residences of Abhishek Prasad “Pintu” (Press Advisor to Hon’ble CM of Jharkhand State), Ram Niwas Yadav (DC of Sahibganj District) and Rajendra Dubey (DSP of Sahibganj) in connection with to a case of illegal stone mining. During the search operations, various incriminating, documents/records, digital devices and cash amounting to Rs. 36.99 lakhs including Rs 7.25 lakh from the camp office of Ram Niwas Yadav, DC of Sahibganj.
