Rajasthan Government Assigns Key Portfolios to Ministers in Recent Allocation

In the recent portfolio allocation by the Rajasthan Government, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has retained eight key departments, which notably include the Home Department, Excise Department, and the Anti-Corruption Bureau. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has been entrusted with six departments, encompassing significant portfolios such as the Finance Department, Tourism Department, and Women & Child Development. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa will oversee four departments, including the Higher Education Department and Road Transport and Highways. Other ministers, such as Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena, have been assigned four departments, with Dr. Meena taking charge of the Agriculture department. Additionally, Rajasthan Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore has been allocated five departments, notably including the Commerce and Industry portfolio along with the Sports Department. This distribution aims to distribute responsibilities across various key sectors under the leadership of the respective ministers in the Rajasthan Government.

BJP’s Gaurav Bhatia Condemns Attack on ED Team in West Bengal, Blames TMC for ‘Jungle Raj’ Amid Alleged Rohingya Infiltration

On the attack on the ED team in West Bengal today, BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia says, "The ED officers who went to West Bengal for investigation were attacked by the TMC goons and illegally infiltrated Rohingyas. West Bengal has become synonymous with 'Jungle Raj' under Mamata Banerjee's nose. Law and order has collapsed but Mamata Banerjee is at leisure. Two to three ED officers are reported seriously injured."

Haryana govt implemented Ayushman-Chirayu, Providing Free Medical Treatment of Up To Rs. 5 Lakhs

Haryana government has implemented Ayushman-Chirayu Haryana Yojana by covering nearly half of the state's population for free medical treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh at both government and private hospitals. The scheme has issued over 1.03 crore Ayushman-Chirayu cards, including 74, 33,548 Chirayu cards and 28, 89,000 Ayushman cards, statement said. This scheme is an extension of Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana. Approximately 8 lakh families with incomes ranging from Rs 1.80 lakh to Rs 3 lakh a year are now eligible for the scheme.

Pakistan Senate passes resolution to delay general election scheduled for February 8

Pakistan's Senate has approved a resolution seeking a delay in the general election, citing cold weather and security concerns, increasing the political uncertainty ahead of the planned polls on February 8. The resolution, tabled by independent Senator Dilawar Khan, received overwhelming support in the upper house of Pakistan's Parliament. However, Information Minister Murtaza Solangi and three-time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party opposed the move.
