Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraban Modi has been hospitalized after her health deteriorated on Tuesday night. Amid her condition, she was taken to U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre in Ahmedabad. According to the BJP officials, Prime Minister Modi urgently left for Ahmedabad.
Ahead of PM Modi, State BJP chief C R Paatil and Chief Principal Secretary to Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and several others will be arriving to visit PM’s mother.
U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre
The hospital issued a press note regarding Ms. Modi’s condition, “UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre, Ahmedabad hospital’s spokesperson hereby informing that Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Mother is admitted at UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology & Research Centre, Ahmedabad & her health condition is stable.”
According to the doctor, 99 years-old, Heeraban Modi is in stable condition.
PM Modi Visits To His Mother Heeraban
Heeraban lives with her youngest son Pankaj. Pankaj is a retired Gujarat Government official at Raisan in the state’s Gandhinagar district.
Recently, On December 4, Prime Minister Modi met his mother. It was a day before he cast his vote for the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly Elections. Prime Minister Modi also visited her on her 99th birthday in June. Moreover, the Prime Minister had written an emotional blog titled “Mother.”
“At that time, A mother not only gives birth to her children, but also shapes their mind, their personality, and their self-confidence.,” PM tweeted.

PM Modi’s Brother Prahlad Modi Injured In An Accident
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi’s younger brother Prahlad Modi met with an accident. According to an official report, he was traveling to Bandipur along with his son, daughter-in-law, and grandson when his Mercedes Benz car hit the divider near Mysuru, Karnataka.
Ahead of the accident, Prahlad Modi along with his family taken to the JSS hospital for treatment. According to the sources, they got minor injuries and are in stable condition.
Further, the sources said, they are likely to get discharged from JSS Hospital on Thursday. Information on health conditions of the injured person was being given to the PMO on daily basis, the source added.
