Gehlots actions have caused a lot of unjust in the party creating a lot of hate.
A senior Congress leader said, “Gehlot is out of the Congress president race. There will be other leaders who will file the nomination before September 30. Mukul Wasnik, Mallikarjun Kharge, Digvijaya Singh, KC Venugopal and Kamalnath in the race.”
Sachin Pilot, whose rebellion in 2020 almost brought Mr Gehlot’s government to the brink, has 20 MLAs on his side. For the second time, he has been publicly “exposed” as without enough support compared to Mr Gehlot
Former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad when asked to comment on the political crisis in Rajasthan, said, “Jo gao chod diya uska naam nahi lena chahta (Don’t wanna talk about what I have already left behind).” Azad had quit Congress on August 26, calling the party “comprehensively destroyed”. He also lashed out at Rahul Gandhi for “demolishing” the party’s entire consultative mechanism.
