The Allahabad High Court on Thursday completed the hearing on multiple petitions in the Krishna Janmabhoomi–Shahi Idgah dispute.
The court sought replies from the concerned parties and scheduled the next hearing for 4 July 2025.
The matter was heard by a single bench of Justice Ram Manohar Narayan Mishra.

The court is currently hearing around 18 petitions linked to the case, following a consolidated approach similar to the Ayodhya dispute.
The Hindu petitioners have claimed that the Shahi Idgah Mosque stands on the actual birthplace of Lord Shri Krishna. They argue that the sanctum sanctorum lies within the 2.5-acre mosque premises.
The petitions demand that the structure be declared disputed.
In response, the Muslim side asserts that the Shahi Idgah is a valid and recognised religious place. They oppose the claim that the mosque encroaches on a sacred Hindu site.
The High Court will now proceed with detailed hearings on the filed applications. All involved parties must submit their responses before the next scheduled hearing.
