ALLAHABAD: A young man placed a cylinder, bicycle, and stones on the track of the Vande Bharat train. He did this to make a REEL. When the train passed through the track, the stone fell away. Police believe that the things kept on the track could have derailed the train.
On Friday evening, the police arrested the accused youth. He said that he was making the video on YouTube because of the instigation of his friends and to get likes. However, the police are also investigating the angle of conspiracy to overturn the train.
Videos of the accused have also surfaced. In this, he is seen pasting a chicken with tape on the track, placing a cylinder, and laying stones.
The accused has been identified as 22-year-old Gulzar. He is a resident of Nawabganj. He has studied till 10th. Railway police said that he has a YouTube channel named Gulzar Indian Hacker. He has 2 lakh 36 thousand followers.
He used to make videos by placing stapler, coolers, bicycles, and stoves in front of the train to get views on social media. A youth tagged railway and police officers on X. When the matter was investigated, it was found that the youth was a resident of Nawabganj. After this, the police at the police station started searching for him. After a few hours of recce, the youth was arrested from his house.
DCP Ganga Nagar Abhishek Bharti said that RPF has registered a case under Section 145/147, Railway Act 153. He is being questioned for a long time. It is also being ascertained whether he was doing such acts on someone’s instructions. Is there just a conspiracy behind this to make a reel or something else?
