Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has criticized opposition, saying that Congress, NC, and PDP are “Private Limited Companies” that have thrived by disempowering the people of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
Speaking at a BJP campaign rally in the Chhamb Assembly constituency, Adityanath asserted that these parties have failed to provide solutions to pressing issues, including the long-standing Ayodhya dispute, which he claimed was resolved only after the BJP came to power. “When the country became free in 1947, Congress ruled for a long time without finding any solution to the Ayodhya problem,” he stated, adding that “Ram Lalla is back in Ayodhya” under BJP leadership.
He accused the Congress of being synonymous with problems, while the BJP represents solutions. “They are the reason for terrorism, naxalism, casteism, and regionalism,” he said, alleging that Congress has nurtured division in society and disempowered Hindus, leading to the rise of terrorism.

Adityanath claimed that the previous central government and its J&K allies contributed to the creation of stone pelters and other forms of terrorism. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah with significantly reducing terrorism in the region.
The Chief Minister referenced the historical sacrifice of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, who he said fought for a unified India, asserting that Modi’s abrogation of Article 370 fulfilled this vision by uprooting the “nursery of terrorism.”
He accused the Congress, NC, and PDP of transforming J&K into a “warehouse of terrorism” and stated that they had disrespected Maharaja Hari Singh, while promising that a BJP-led government would restore his honor and vision for the region.
Adityanath highlighted the positive changes in J&K under BJP leadership, mentioning the opening of the Kartarpur corridor, the organization of G-20 meetings, and the resurgence of the Amarnath Yatra, which he said now attracts devotees from across the country.
He also criticized the Congress for its stance on reservations for various communities and claimed that the party has failed to support the suffering Kashmiri Pandits during times of terrorism. He noted that the people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) are expressing a desire to join J&K, while asserting that Pakistan is facing its own internal crises.
Concluding his speech, Adityanath appealed to voters to support BJP candidates in the upcoming elections on October 1, with vote counting scheduled for October 8.
