Two BYJU’s office employees can be seen arguing in a video that is abuzz on social media. The video was posted to the “Ghar Ke Kalesh” Twitter account. The video is not verified by Bharat Express. In the video, a female employee challenges her supervisor over incentives. Rumours about the ‘toxic’ workplace culture at BYJU started to spread last year. The workers said that the workplace is abusive. The woman can be seen complaining about the lack of rewards and help in the video.
The woman can be heard complaining about being fired and receiving only Rs 2,000 in Fnf, adding, “Yes, sir, I am screaming because I am going mad.” The girl has been missing ever since then, as stated in the caption of the video. While speaking, woman ensures that she addresses the entire office.
Concerns about the increasingly toxic environment in many companies have been raised by many people. “Most IT companies in India force employees to work for more than 9 hours,” one user tweeted. They are expected to work nonstop without taking any breaks. Businesses refuse to grant bonuses and vacation days. Additionally, they are often asked to work without any incentive on Saturdays and Sundays. I don’t know why the central government is not taking action.”
However, a lot of individuals claim that the woman in the video overreacted. If I was in the same situation, I would have found a new job within the first three months, another user remarked. Making a scene won’t help; it will just make things worse.
