UP Board Results 2026: Class 10 Pass 90.42%, Class 12 At 80.38%

The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education on Thursday announced the results of the 2026 High School (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) examinations, recording strong pass percentages with toppers from Sitapur.

The results were declared in Prayagraj by Director-Chairman Mahendra Dev and Secretary Bhagwati Singh. The overall pass percentage stood at 90.42 per cent for Class 10 and 80.38 per cent for Class 12.

Kashish Verma topped the high school examination, while Shikha Verma secured the top position in the intermediate examination. Both toppers are from Sitapur.

In Class 10, girls outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 93.76 per cent compared to 87.30 per cent among boys.

A total of 13,43,524 boys and 12,57,857 girls appeared for the examination, of whom 11,72,862 boys and 11,79,319 girls passed.

A similar trend was observed in Class 12. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 86.32 per cent, significantly higher than 75.04 per cent among boys.

The examinations were conducted from February 18 to March 12 across 8,033 centres. A total of 53,37,773 candidates registered, including 26,01,381 for Class 10 and 24,86,072 for Class 12.

The evaluation process was carried out between March 18 and April 4 at 254 centres. As many as 92,594 examiners assessed Class 10 answer sheets, while 55,973 examiners evaluated Class 12 papers in two phases.

The results highlight consistent academic performance and the efficient conduct of one of the country’s largest school examination systems.
