Union Minister for Food and Consumer Affairs, Pralhad Joshi, has hailed the Budget 2024-25 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as “excellent” and “dedicated to building a new India”. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Joshi highlighted the Budget’s focus on economic progress, youth, women, and farmers, saying it instills confidence, particularly among young people.
Joshi praised the Prime Minister’s Surya Ghar Yojana as one of the best schemes globally, benefiting the middle class and underprivileged sections. He noted that Sitharaman has prioritized education, employment, and skill development, paving the way for a developed India.
