Swami Avdheshanand Giri, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhara, on Wednesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘uninterrupted devotion’ to national service, calling his 25-year journey an example of dedication and determination.
Giri highlighted women’s empowerment and youth development as key pillars of governance. He cited self-help groups, women-led entrepreneurship and the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ initiative, along with skills, education, startups and innovation.
Swami Avdheshanand Giri praised ‘Make in India’, domestic manufacturing and semiconductor initiatives for strengthening self-reliance. He said UPI, Direct Benefit Transfer and digital public services have made technology more accessible.
Giri highlighted expanded highways, railways, airports and rural roads, alongside PM Gati Shakti, as drivers of economic opportunity. He described growing defence production and indigenous equipment manufacturing as vital to India’s strategic strength.
Swami Avdheshanand Giri praised the redevelopment of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Mahakal Lok and Kedarnath Dham. He highlighted the construction and consecration of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
Recalling the COVID pandemic, Giri credited doctors, scientists, health workers and citizens for their service, while highlighting vaccine production, vaccination, foodgrain assistance and Vaccine Maitri.
Looking ahead, Swami Avdheshanand Giri said the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision requires every citizen’s participation. He concluded by praising PM Modi’s ‘tireless hard work, determination, and dedication to the spirit of nation first’ and wished him good health, long life and continued service.
