TV journalist Soumya Vishwanathan’s murder accused will be subjected to their punishment on october 26

Tomorrow, October 26, will be significant in the murder case of TV journalist Soumya Vishwanathan. On October 26, there will be a discussion regarding the sentences of all those found guilty in the murder case of Soumya Vishwanathan. The layers of this case can become visible once more in such a scenario. Just last week, all of the defendants were found guilty, but what exactly is going on here? Allow us to clarify.

In actuality, Soumya was fatally shot in 2008. Soumya Vishwanathan was shot on September 30, 2008, as she was driving home. In this murder case, five people were taken into custody. The guilty parties are Amit Shukla, Amit Kapoor, Ajay Kumar, Ajay Sethi, and Baljeet Malik. They were subjected to MCOCA by the police.

Amit Shukla and Ravi Kapoor have also been found guilty of the murder of IT specialist Jigisha Ghosh. The lower court had given them both the death penalty in the Jigisha Ghosh murder case, but the High Court had altered it to life in prison. It is notable because nothing was discovered in this case for several months, despite all of the police’s efforts.

Jigisha Ghosh, a contact center employee in Vasant Vihar, was abducted and subsequently killed in 2009. A CCTV tape with Baljeet Malik’s photo was discovered during this case’s investigation. Following Baljeet’s interrogation, Ravi Kapoor’s name surfaced in the case. After Kapoor was detained by the police and subjected to rigorous questioning, he admitted to killing Soumya. Following this, MCOCA was applied to them and everyone was placed under arrest.
