Tihar Jail Meeting: Bhagwant Mann Accuses Authorities of Treating Arvind Kejriwal Like a Terrorist

The Delhi High Court recently upheld his arrest, citing sufficient evidence of complicity, prompting Kejriwal to appeal to the Supreme Court.

Arvind Kejriwal, labelled “like a terrorist” says Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, faced a stark denial of basic amenities comparable to “hardcore criminals” during a meeting at Delhi’s Tihar Jail. The encounter, separated by a glass barrier, lasted 30 minutes, facilitated by a phone line.

Mann’s emotional reaction stemmed from witnessing Kejriwal’s treatment, deeming it unjust considering his contributions, notably the establishment of mohalla clinics. Despite incarceration, Kejriwal remains engaged in governance, intending to confer with two ministers next week regarding Delhi’s affairs.
