Death Threats to Mukesh Ambani
A 19-year-old individual from Telangana, identified as Ganesh Ramesh Vanapardhi, has been arrested in connection with alleged death threats sent to Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani. Last week, three threat emails were received by the industrialist, each demanding substantial sums of money.
The incident began when a complaint was registered in Mumbai on October 27, prompted by a complaint filed by the industrialist’s security in-charge after the first email, requesting ₹20 crore, was received from an unidentified sender. Subsequently, the company received two more threatening emails, with demands of ₹200 crore and ₹400 crore.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the email ID used for these threats was associated with a person named Shadab Khan, and the emails were sent from Belgium. The police are currently working to ascertain whether this is the correct identity of the person or if these emails were sent using a fake ID.
It’s worth noting that this is not the first instance of Mukesh Ambani receiving death threats. Last year, Mumbai Police arrested an individual from Bihar for making anonymous calls threatening to target Mr. Ambani and his family members. The caller had threatened to “blow up” the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital along with the Ambani family residence, ‘Antilia,’ in south Mumbai.
