Preparations for the Telangana Rising Global Summit, to be held on 8–9 December at Bharat Future City, are in full swing. Invitations will be extended to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi, and AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge.
To extend these invitations personally, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy intends to hold meetings with each of the three leaders.
Details from the Chief Minister’s Office indicate that the event will draw participants from India and abroad over the two-day programme.
To achieve a large and successful summit, the administration is inviting Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, prominent business leaders and economists. It is additionally engaging athletes, media figures, diplomats and specialists from multiple fields.
For outreach to high-profile individuals, state ministers and senior officials will take responsibility.
The government will form an invitation committee to manage the work. A dedicated summit website will, however, support its operations.
The committee will handle invitation logistics, guest reception and hospitality. Special Chief Secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh will, however, lead the coordination.
Monitoring of invitation progress will be done directly by the Chief Minister through a real-time dashboard.
Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan confirmed that 4,500 invitations have already been issued, with around 1,000 attendees having responded positively.
During the summit, the government will release its long-term ‘Telangana Rising 2047’ development vision.
The Chief Minister told journalists on Sunday that the document reflects past learnings. He noted that it aims to guide the State towards a future-ready model.
“We will strengthen the state’s economy by providing job opportunities to our youth with the help of giant companies in the world,” he further added.
Public Participation and Expert Collaboration
According to the Chief Minister, the vision document focuses on strategy and public participation, with lakhs of residents contributing to the framework.
NITI Aayog and ISB are collaborating with the government. They are studying each sector closely before completing their recommendations.
Further, he outlined a three-part regional approach, highlighting the Core Urban Region Economy (CURE) as central to Telangana’s growth plans.
Pointing to rising pollution levels in major metros, he stressed that Greater Hyderabad would be shaped into a cleaner and more sustainable city.
In this urban core, the government aims to build a strong service-sector base while relocating polluting industries.
Projects like the Musi River restoration and the expansion of the Metro Rail network form part of this plan.
Beyond the Outer Ring Road, the proposed 360-kilometre Regional Ring Road is earmarked for the Peri Urban Region Economic (PURE) zone.
Developments planned in this zone include Bharat Future City, the Greenfield Bullet Train corridor, and improved transport links to Machilipatnam.
