During the Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025, the Adani Group, led by industrialist Gautam Adani, has been providing various types of facilities to the public. The family distributed food and prasad to thousands of devotees. In collaboration with Gita Press Gorakhpur, they also distributed books from the Gita collection to lakhs of people attending the event.
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj has praised the Adani Group’s efforts in public service. Speaking to the media, Swami Avimukteshwaranand remarked that “what is given in charity is the best wealth,” highlighting the noble nature of the Adani family’s work.
The Jagadguru went on to compare the charitable actions of the Adani family to the sacrifices made in a Yagya. He called the family’s contributions a great and meaningful work, emphasizing their dedication to serving the devotees during the Mahakumbh.
