The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has submitted a 2000-page scientific survey report to the Madhya Pradesh High Court, which has also been shared with the Central and State Governments. The report details evidence of over 1700 archaeological remains, including idols of 37 deities, found during the 98-day survey.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court is scheduled to hear the case on July 22, but it remains to be seen whether the court will modify the 23-year-old system in place based on the ASI report. Hindu organizations claim that the Kamal Maulana Mosque in Dhar is actually the Maa Saraswati Temple Bhojshala, built by King Bhoj in 1034, which was later demolished by Mughal invaders and converted into a mosque.

The Supreme Court has previously stated that no action will be taken without its permission. The case has sparked a legal and historical debate, with both sides eagerly awaiting the court’s decision.
