Study, play & Be Self-employed: CM Chouhan

Madhya Pradesh government proceeds ahead with its public welfare and development agenda. Now sports are also one of the fields, the state government is emphasizing upon.  MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and renowned cricketer Gautam Gambhir attend Prem Sundar Memorial Cricket Tournament at Rehti in Madhya Pradesh.

Bhopal: December 18, 2022. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan appeals to the youth of the state, to study, play and get involved in self-employment. Sports are also necessary along with studies. Sports give joy, and happiness and make the body strong. Along with studies, full opportunities and facilities for sports are being provided to the students in the state. Parents should encourage their children for sports along with studies.

CM Chouhan and well-known cricketer and Member of Parliament, Gautam Gambhir participated in the Prem Sundar Memorial Cricket Tournament at Rehti (Sehore) today and boosted the enthusiasm and morale of the players. Mrs. Sadhna Singh, MP Ramakant Bhargava, organizing committee chief Kartikeya Singh Chauhan, public representatives, and a large number of youth players and cricket lovers were present.

The Chief Minister said that Gautam Gambhir has given heights to India’s prestige in the country and abroad. He captained India in Test matches 6 times and achieved continued success. Gave India a historic victory in the year 2011. He is a cricketer as well as an MP and also runs a Jain kitchen for public welfare. CM Chouhan also requested Gautam Gambhir to cooperate in giving cricket training to the children of Madhya Pradesh.

‘I salute and bow down at the feet of my parents, who have brought me to this stage today. I belong to a small farmer family. My mother passed away in my childhood itself. Father left no stone unturned in teaching and taking forward. Never forget to respect and serve your parents in your life,” said Chief Minister Chouhan,

CM Chouhan said that there is a suitable environment for sports in the state. Students play while studying. Such players emerged from Madhya Pradesh and made a splash in the whole country. Various sports are organized in the MLA and CM Cup. Along with kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, and cricket, now daughters will also play. Sports facilities are being provided in every village of the state. Playgrounds with basic facilities are being made in 110 villages. There is a sports stadium in Nasrullaganj, a sports stadium will also be built in Rehti.

The Chief Minister said that such children of 10th and 12th in the state who get 70% or more marks will be given scholarships. CM Rise schools are being opened in the state and smart classes are being made in every village. Laptop is given for getting more than 75 percent marks in class 12th and maternal uncle also pays the fees for higher education. The facility of coaching for competitive examinations is being started offline and online by the government.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that along with jobs, adequate opportunities for self-employment are being made available in the state. Under Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana, Udyam Kranti Yojana, loans ranging from Rs one lakh to Rs 50 lakh are given to young entrepreneurs. Along with this, the government also gives a 3 percent interest subsidy. The collector and commissioner should inform the youth about these schemes and cooperate with them in establishing self-employment. Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated the organizers for organizing the event well.

Gautam Gambhir said, ‘Chief Minister Chouhan is the pride of Madhya Pradesh. You all are lucky that you have got such a nice person as the Chief Minister. In Madhya Pradesh, more than 43 lakh daughters are getting the benefit of Ladli Laxmi Yojana, there is no such scheme in any state of the country.’ Gautam Gambhir also congratulated the organizers for successfully organizing the tournament.

The cricket tournament started on December 12 and 14 teams from Budhni assembly constituency are participating in it. The final match was played between Budhni and Bhairunda teams on Sunday.
