Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the work of electrification of tribal villages should be done on priority with the funds available in the District Mineral Foundation. Topmost importance should be given to works related to basic needs and public utility facilities. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the state level meeting of the District Mineral Foundation in presence of Mineral Resources and Labor Minister Mr. Brijendra Pratap Singh, Chief Secretary Mr. Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary of Mineral Resources Mr. Raghavendra Kumar Singh, Finance Secretary Mr. Ajit Singh and other officers.
Indore’s Nehru Stadium to be made of international standard
Various works of different districts were approved in the meeting. Among these, approval was given to develop a park depicting the glorious history of Maharana Pratap and his allies in Bhopal, construction of Rejangla War Memorial in honor of martyrs and upgradation of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium for indoor and outdoor sports activities in Banjari and construction of mini park focusing on historical personalities in Jagdishpur Bhopal including making Nehru Stadium in Indore of international standard, construction of rope-way on Janapav hill near Indore, establishment of Ambedkar Dham centered on Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Gwalior district and construction of Maa Pitambara Corridor in Datia and expansion of public facilities.
Narmadapuram to be made smart city
Approval was also given to make Narmadapuram a smart city, renovation of Kol Garhi in Rewa, development of a park named after King Shri Bhabuth Singh of Korku community in Piplani village of Sehore district, construction of government college building in Bargawan of Singrauli district and PG in Baidhan. Approval was given for the construction of the college building. In various gram panchayats, works related to community building, night-shelter, hostel construction, access road, culvert, renovation of ponds and other public facilities were also approved.
