Elvish Yadav Case
The Noida police are investigating YouTuber and Big Boss winner Elvish Yadav for alleged involvement in the use of snake venom at rave parties. Five individuals were arrested after an NGO, People for Animals (PFA), pretended to be customers and contacted the accused to arrange snakes for a party.
Phone call
In a phone call between one of the accused, Rahul, and a PFA member, it was revealed that they bring snakes from other states due to tight security in Delhi. The accused claimed to have been doing this for 15 years and mentioned that they remove the venom from the snakes.
The accused suggested that there would be a snake trainer at the party to allow children to take pictures with the snakes. They also indicated that these parties were associated with Elvish Yadav and claimed that the police didn’t interfere in such events.
Police action
The police action resulted in the rescue of nine snakes, including cobras, from those arrested. The seized snake venom is being tested to determine if it has psychotropic effects.
