Shocking Allegations Made By Umar Ansari As Father Mukhtar Died At The Age Of 63

Politician turned gangster Mukhtar Ansari died because of Cardiac arrest at the age of 63. He was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly from Mau, Uttar Pradesh for five times. The politician was serving his sentence to prison in UP and Punjab since 2005. In a recent development into the case, his son Umar Ansari claimed that Mukhtar was fed poison. He further expressed family’s will to move to court in the case.

Mukhtar Ansari was taken to Rani Durgavati Medical College in Banda from the district jail in an unconscious condition. According to the principal, Suneel Kaushal, he passed away at the hospital due to cardiac arrest.

“I was not told anything from the administration side. I came to know about it through the media… But now, the entire nation knows everything… Two days ago, I came to meet him, but I was not allowed… We said earlier also and even today, we will say the same about the allegation of giving slow poison. On March 19, he was poisoned in the dinner. We will move to the judiciary, we have full faith in it…,” news agency ANI quoted Umar Ansari as saying.

Mukhtar Ansari’s body was dispatched for post-mortem examination at Banda Medical College Hospital. “The post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow (March 29), after that, they will give us the body. We will then follow with the further process (cremation)… My father alleged being given a slow poison… Around five doctors panel has been made (for carrying out the post-mortem),” Umar Ansari added.

Afzal Ansari, the brother of Mukhtar Ansari and MP from Ghazipur, alleged on Tuesday that Mukhtar Ansari was being slowly poisoned in jail, a claim refuted by authorities. Mukhtar Ansari, aged 63, had a political career as a five-time MLA from Mau Sadar but had been in custody in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab since 2005, with over 60 criminal cases pending against him. He had been convicted in eight cases since September 2022 by various courts in Uttar Pradesh and was incarcerated in Banda jail.
