BANDA: Mafia Mukhtar Ansari, lodged in Banda jail of Uttar Pradesh, died late on Thursday night. When Mukhtar Ansari’s health deteriorated in the jail barrack, the jail administration brought him to Rani Durgavati Medical College, in critical condition . It has been said in the medical bulletin that reason behind Mukhtar Ansari death was due to heart attack.
According to information was received that Mukhtar had to be admitted from ICU to CCU. Here a team of 9 doctors was deployed for the treatment of Mukhtar. However, Mukhtar’s life could not be saved. Earlier on Tuesday, he was admitted to the medical college. The doctors diagnosed him with constipation and after treatment he sent him to jail the same day. His health was tested in the jail on Wednesday, in which everything was found normal.
Mukhtar, who has turned 63, had alleged in the court during the hearing that an attempt was being made to murder him in the jail. He is being given slow poison in his food, due to which his health is deteriorating. MP MLA Court had also sought a report from the jail administration in the matter.
A large team of police personnel had been deployed outside the hospital shortly after Ansari was taken there and prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) have been imposed across Uttar Pradesh following his death.
Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police Prashant Kumar said additional police personnel as well as Central Reserve Police Force teams have also been deployed in Banda, Mau, Ghazipur and Varanasi district.
