Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh Casts Vote in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Advocates for a Strong, Self-Reliant, and Developed India

The Election Commission reported a total of 1,202 candidates contesting in this phase, with 1,098 being male, 102 female, and two representing the third gender.

Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, the MLA representing the Sarojini Nagar assembly constituency of Uttar Pradesh, exercised his franchise in the Gautam Buddha Nagar parliamentary constituency. After casting his vote, he took to social media to share a photo, captioning it with a commitment to contribute towards a strong, self-reliant, and developed India.

Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which holds the distinction of being the largest political party globally, participated in the second phase of the 18th Lok Sabha elections. This phase encompassed voting on 88 seats across 13 states and union territories. Notable figures in this phase included Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, five Union Ministers, two former Chief Ministers, and three prominent film personalities, among others. Notably, this phase also saw voting on seats contested by Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, and Hema Malini.

The Election Commission reported a total of 1,202 candidates contesting in this phase, with 1,098 being male, 102 female, and two representing the third gender. Preceding this phase, on April 19, voting occurred on 102 seats during the first phase. The electoral process will continue over five phases until June 1. Subsequently, the results of the Lok Sabha elections are scheduled for announcement on June 4.
