Sangh Centenary: Panch Parivartan for Societal Progress

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has been a stalwart social organization for nearly a century, and as it approaches its centenary milestone next year on Vijayadashami, plans are underway for a significant commemoration. In a press briefing led by Sunil Ji Ambekar, the All India Publicity Chief of the Sangh, it was revealed that a brainstorming session will be convened during the upcoming All India Representative Assembly to outline an action plan for the centenary year.

During the three-day assembly scheduled for March 15th to 17th, there will be a thorough review of the Sangh’s work, particularly focusing on its branches nationwide. With a target of expanding its reach to 1 lakh branches, the Sangh aims to amplify its impact across the country.

This assembly, to be held in Nagpur, marks a significant return to its traditional venue after nearly six years. Anticipating the participation of 1529 representatives from all corners of the nation, the meeting will also witness involvement from 32 Sangh-inspired organizations and affiliated groups. Notable figures like Dr. Jayantibhai Bhadasia, the West Zone Sanghchalak, and respected leaders such as Shantakka Ji from Rashtra Sevika Samiti and Alok Kumar Ji from Vishwa Hindu Parishad will grace the occasion.

Additionally, the assembly will oversee the election process for the Honorable Sarkaryavah of the Sangh and finalize plans for the nationwide itinerary of the esteemed Sarsanghchalak. There will also be deliberations on implementing permanent changes aimed at fostering social harmony, promoting family enlightenment, environmental conservation, advocating for self-reliance, and emphasizing civic duties.

This year also marks the birth centenary of Ahilyabai Holkar, a momentous occasion that will be celebrated from May 2024 to April 2025. The assembly intends to issue a statement honoring her legacy.

Furthermore, discussions will encompass the upcoming Sangh Shiksha classes and the implementation of a new curriculum.

Noteworthy attendees like All India Co-Publicity Chief Narendra Kumar Ji and Alok Kumar Ji will contribute to the deliberations, reflecting the collective effort and vision driving the Sangh forward into its next century of service to society.
