Spiritual leader Jaggi Vasudev, founder of the Isha Foundation, expressed disappointment over ongoing disruptions in Parliament. He specifically criticized the focus on privately owned businesses and conglomerates.
“It is disheartening to see disruptions in Parliament, especially when we aim to be a global example of democracy,” Sadhguru said. He took to social media to share his concerns, advising that “wealth creators and job providers” should not be the subject of political rhetoric.
Moreover, he emphasized that any discrepancies should be addressed within the framework of law, not through political debates. “Indian business must thrive for Bharat to become a Bhavya Bharat,” he added.

Sadhguru’s comments come amid the ongoing Winter session of Parliament, which has faced frequent adjournments. The session is scheduled to end on December 20.

Notably, the Congress-led Opposition has criticized the government for allegedly favoring certain business houses. Meanwhile, NDA leaders have accused the INDIA bloc of corruption, targeting former Congress president for alleged links with an organization funded by the George Soros Foundation, which has been accused of backing narratives challenging India’s sovereignty.
On December 11, the INDIA bloc moved a no-confidence motion against Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. The motion accused him of partisan behavior and of acting as a spokesperson for the government.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge defended the motion, saying, “For three years, Dhankhar has acted in a partisan manner. He has favored the treasury benches and denied the Opposition a chance to present their views.”
