Under the aegis of the Sanatan Dharm Manch, residents of Imar Gomti Green Society organised a magnificent procession on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. The event reflected deep devotion and collective enthusiasm among participants.
Children adorned as Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Lakshman, and Lord Hanuman captivated devotees as they rode elegantly decorated chariots. Their divine portrayal added charm and spiritual fervour to the procession.
Devotees participated wholeheartedly, chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ with great zeal.
The procession commenced from the G Gate near the Police Headquarters and proceeded through Phase-2 before culminating at the Gomteshwar Mahadev Temple in Phase-1, where it concluded peacefully.
Organisers honoured children dressed in divine forms with medals and certificates in recognition of their participation.
The gesture encouraged cultural expression and religious awareness among young participants.
Local women further enriched the celebration by presenting a soulful bhajan evening. Their devotional singing created a serene and spiritually uplifting environment, leaving attendees deeply immersed in faith.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of several dignitaries and residents. Key attendees included patrons VS Shukla and Vinod Kumar Tiwari, along with RWA President Raj Kishore Rakesh.
Prominent participants such as Arvind Tiwari, Anurag Pandey, Ravindra Nath Rai, JP Singh, Ravi Shukla, Satyendra Singh, Pawan Pandey, Anil Kumar Pandey, Dr Rohitash, Shashank Mishra, Shweta Srivastava, Sushmita Rai, Urvashi Goyal, Anita Maurya, Aparna Pandey, Subina, Monica, Jyotsna, Priyanka Saxena, CA Shashank Mishra, Rudresh Ojha, Rajeev Singh, Ashish Srivastava, and SD Maurya also attended.
