Ayodhya Ram Mandir: On January 22, a magnificent Ram temple will be dedicated in Ayodhya. Though there is a lot of excitement among Ram devotees about this day, preparations for it are moving quickly forward in Ayodhya. They intend to observe January 22 in a unique manner. Pregnant women in some places intend to give birth on January 22, while women in other places still prefer Banarasi sarees with a Ram Mandir theme. Therefore, there is a similar frenzy in other countries. It has been reported that sarees featuring designs of Ram temples are popular in Italy, Singapore, Chennai, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
In response, Kashi weaver Sarvesh Srivastava asserts that there is a demand both domestically and overseas for Banarasi sarees embroidered with the image of the Ram temple. He is in charge of eighteen artisans. He clarifies that all of the saree’s work is done by hand. According to Sarvesh, these sarees made using the unique technique of Uchan weaving are being shipped to Singapore and Italy.
The demand for these sarees is rising now that Ram Lala is set to be consecrated at the Ayodhya Ram temple. This saree is the most popular among women. These Banarasi sarees are being prepared by Lohta Koruta resident Sarvesh Kumar Srivastava, who has a unique and remarkable skill for weaving. He claims that in addition to Gujarat, Maharashtra, Bangalore, and Chennai, special orders have also been received from Italy and Singapore. He recently shipped a significant amount of sarees with Ram Mandir designs to Italy. The Ram temple design on the hem of this Banarasi saree and the Saryu border design are both extremely lovely to look at.

Hand made sarees
Regarding the saree, Sarvesh says that the entire work on the saree made of pure silk has been done by hand. Only handlooms are used to prepare the entire saree. The preparation process takes more than two months. He claims that one saree can be made by 18 artisans working together. He said that a saree costs thirty-five thousand rupees.
Dupatta’s are also made
In addition to sarees, Sarvesh says he has also crafted dupattas. Both sides of the dupatta are adorned with the Ram temple design. A dupatta costs fifty thousand rupees. The dupatta takes three months to make.

In an interview with the media, the saree’s designer, Neha Srivastava, revealed that she got the idea to wear it on the garment during the Ayodhya Ram temple’s foundation stone ceremony. After working on it for fifteen days, the design was ready. Art experts claim that the art of the Unchant Weaver period is the art of the Ramayana. In this, needles are used to weave the saree.
Saree made for PM’s mother
Sarvesh Banarasi has also engraved the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother on the saree. He wanted to gift this saree to the PM. She had engraved the love of mother and son on this saree.
