Wednesday morning saw a new round of rain in Delhi, and additional rains are expected throughout the day.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather notice, predicting moderate rain in parts of the city.

Although the city may have light precipitation on Thursday as well, the maximum temperature, which the MeT office predicts will remain between 35 and 36 degrees Celsius for the ensuing four to five days, won’t be much affected.

High humidity levels, on the other hand, may be inconvenient for city dwellers.

In the last four months, Delhi has received more rain than usual, and the total precipitation this year has already surpassed the yearly allowance of 774 mm.

However, August has had a significant shortage, with total rainfall this month being 52% less than typical.
