She also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
President Murmu Condemns Attack; Calls It ‘Dastardly Act’
In a post on social media platform X, the Rashtrapati Bhavan account described the attack as ‘shocking and painful’ and labelled it a ‘dastardly and inhuman act’ that we must condemn unequivocally.
The post further emphasised the heinous nature of the attack, saying, “Attacking innocent citizens, in this case tourists, is utterly appalling and unpardonable.”

The President sent her condolences to the grieving families and expressed her prayers for the injured.
PM Modi Condemns Attack And Vows Justice
Prime Minister Modi condemned the terror attack and vowed to bring those responsible to justice.
In a post on X, PM Modi expressed his sympathy for the families who lost their loved ones and prayed for the recovery of the injured. He assured, “Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice… they will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakeable, and it will get even stronger.”

Union Minister Amit Shah Vows Strong Action
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also condemned the attack, describing it as a cowardly assault on innocent tourists. He assured that the authorities would take strict action against the perpetrators.
Shah, who is visiting Srinagar in the aftermath of the attack, stated, “The Modi Government follows a Zero-Tolerance Policy against terrorism. We will not spare those involved in this heinous act.”
He added that the Union Home Minister is personally overseeing the response and that the Prime Minister is closely monitoring the situation.
J&K LG Manoj Sinha And Union Minister JP Nadda React
Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha and Union Minister JP Nadda expressed deep anguish over the attack. Nadda termed the targeting of innocent civilians as ‘highly reprehensible’, emphasising that the government’s response would be swift and resolute.
He assured, “The Union Home Minister is visiting the affected area, and the Prime Minister is personally monitoring the situation. We are committed to supporting all affected families and will provide all necessary assistance.”
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Expresses Grief
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh condemned the attack as ‘an act of cowardice’ and expressed deep anguish over the loss of innocent lives.
“This dastardly attack on innocent civilians is highly reprehensible. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families,” Singh said in his statement.
