During the second day of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad meeting in Prayagraj, the members approved several significant proposals.
One of the primary proposals was to declare the cow as the national mother, emphasizing the importance of cow protection and promotion. Additionally, the Akhadas agreed to rename the Peshwai and Shahi Snan, advocating for the use of “Sanatan culture” instead of terms with Urdu and Persian origins.
The assembly also passed an important proposal aimed at preserving Sanatan Dharma and addressing issues related to love jihad, religious conversion, and the protection of temples from destruction. The Akhadas expressed hope that both central and state governments would take action on these matters.

Another notable decision was to ban meat and liquor shops in the Maha Kumbh area, alongside a proposal to free monastery temples from government oversight. The participants also called for a doubling of the grants provided to Akhadas since Kumbh 2019.
In a move to maintain the sanctity of the Ganga, the council proposed measures for its uninterrupted flow and purity. They requested the authorities to name the bathing ghats being constructed along the Ganga-Yamuna after the presiding deities of the Akharas to help preserve their identity among devotees.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Niranjani Akhara in Daraganj, chaired by Akhara Parishad President Mahant Ravindra Puri, with participation from saints and leaders from eight Akharas, including General Secretary Hari Giri Maharaj.
