Political Figures Clash Over ‘White Paper’ and ‘Black Paper’ Issue

Reactions to Government’s ‘White Paper’ and Congress’ ‘Black Paper’

TMC MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay criticized the political maneuvering, labeling it as ‘childish’ and emphasizing its lack of relevance to the public. He expressed dismay at the timing of such documents being brought forth on the concluding day of the 17th Lok Sabha.

He highlighted issues such as the absence of infrastructure development and an increase in poverty levels.

In response, BJP MP Dinesh Sharma launched a scathing attack on the Congress, accusing them of corruption and politicizing the COVID-19 pandemic. Sharma asserted that the government’s actions have been transparent and aimed at the welfare of the people, leading to economic growth and development.

Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury adopted a dismissive stance, stating that the government’s actions regarding the papers are inconsequential to the Congress.
