PM Narendra Modi To Inaugurate Sri Guru Bhairavaikya Mandira In Karnataka

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will likely travel to Karnataka, where he will formally launch the Sri Guru Bhairavaikya Mandira at Sri Kshetra Adichunchanagiri.

The Prime Minister will unveil the memorial at around 11 AM and is likely to address a public gathering during the event.

As part of the programme, PM Modi will also jointly release the book ‘Saundarya Lahari and Shiva Mahimna Stotram’ with former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, according to an official statement.

Constructed in the traditional Dravidian style, the Mandira honours Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji, the revered 71st pontiff of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math. It stands as a tribute to his legacy and aims to serve as a space for reflection and inspiration for future generations.

Sri Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji was known for his extensive contributions to social welfare, including the establishment of educational institutions and healthcare services. His teachings emphasised service to society and reached people across social and regional divides.

Earlier this week, PM Modi inaugurated a six-lane Delhi–Dehradun expressway project valued at Rs 12,000 crore.

The 213-kilometre access-controlled corridor will likely cut travel time between the two cities to nearly half, while enhancing connectivity across several towns in Uttar Pradesh.

Before the inauguration, the Prime Minister also reviewed a wildlife corridor along an elevated section of the Economic Corridor in Saharanpur.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak attended the visit.

Officials presented an exhibition detailing the construction of the wildlife corridor, and PM Modi also held a roadshow in the area, drawing large crowds.
