Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the nation on Mahavir Jayanti, emphasising that the life and teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir continue to illuminate the path of truth, non-violence, and compassion. He noted that the Tirthankara’s ideals are spiritually uplifting and remain profoundly relevant in contemporary society.
Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “There is wonderful inspiration in the messages of Lord Mahavira, based on truth, harmony, good conduct, and equality. His great thoughts will forever remain the guiding path for humanity. Let the essence of Dharma be heard, and having heard, let it be comprehended. One should not do to others what is disagreeable to oneself.”
सत्य, सद्भाव, सद्व्यवहार और समानता पर आधारित भगवान महावीर के संदेशों में अद्भुत प्रेरणा है। उनके महान विचार सदैव मानवता के पथ-प्रदर्शक बने रहेंगे।
