Prime Minister Narendra Modi found a moment of tranquility amidst the election campaigns on Friday as he immersed himself in meditation at the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari.

Captured in the first images emerging from the Memorial, PM Modi appeared deep in meditation within the serene confines of the Dhyan Mandap, a hall within the Memorial dedicated to meditation and introspection.

The day commenced with PM Modi offering prayers at the sacred confluence in Kanyakumari.

Photographs depict him in a solemn moment of worship facing the vast expanse of the sea.

PM Modi’s visit to Kanyakumari follows his energetic participation in the campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.

After a rigorous schedule of rallies, he sought solace at the Kanyakumari Devi Temple on Thursday evening.

His reverence extended to paying homage at the statues of Thiruvalluvar, Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Maa Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda before entering the Memorial hall.

Heightened Security Ensures PM Modi’s Safety

Security forces extensively implemented measures in Kanyakumari. These measures were to ensure the safety of PM Narendra Modi, who will remain in the area until June 1.

Instructing party members to avoid overcrowding the area, the BJP maintained a disciplined approach to PM Modi’s visit.

Prime Minister’s Electoral Journey

The Prime Minister’s electoral journey has been nothing short of exhaustive.

Over a span of 75 days, PM Modi conducted 206 public rallies and roadshows and participated in 80 interviews as part of the campaign for the 2024 Parliamentary elections, which commenced on 16 March and concluded on 30 May.

Delving into the details, PM Modi’s rigorous schedule averaged three events per day. This totaled more than 150 hours of engagement under the scorching sun.
