Sunday marked the return of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio show “Mann Ki Baat,” which had been suspended due to the Lok Sabha elections.
“Delighted to connect with people through Mann Ki Baat once again,” he wrote in a post on X.
His first “Mann Ki Baat” came after he was appointed prime minister for the third time in a row.
On the occasion of Hul Diwas, the PM remembered the sacrifices of the Santhal Rebellion and said that, two years prior to 1857, Sidho and Kanho had established a movement against the British.
“Delighted to share that after a gap of some months due to the elections, #MannKiBaat is back! This month’s programme will take place on Sunday, 30th June. I call upon all of you to share your ideas and inputs for the same. Write on the MyGov Open Forum, NaMo App or record your message on 1800 11 7800,” PM Modi said in a post on X

PM Modi had earlier asked people to contribute their thoughts and suggestions for the broadcast in a social media post.

With the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in effect and the general elections approaching, the monthly broadcast was cancelled.
The final “Mann Ki Baat” programme from PM Modi aired on February 25. It was prior to the announcement of the vote timetable. Notably PM’s ‘Mann KI Baat’ was launched on October 3, 2014. Along with 22 Indian languages and 29 dialects, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is being broadcast in 11 foreign languages.
