Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed for Abu Dhabi on Friday as part of an official visit to the United Arab Emirates aimed at further strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the UAE.
During the visit, PM Modi will hold extensive discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on key areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, investment, energy security and people-to-people ties.
The visit is expected to deepen strategic and economic engagement between the two nations, with the UAE continuing to remain one of India’s most significant partners in the Gulf region.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the visit will help further promote strong trade and investment linkages between both countries.
PM @narendramodi has embarked on a 5-nation tour, including UAE, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy.
Over the next six days, PM will engage with several world leaders across a wide-ranging agenda aimed at strengthening India’s global partnerships.

Energy cooperation will be a key focus of the visit, with India and the UAE likely to sign two MoUs on LPG and strategic petroleum reserves.
The UAE is India’s third-largest trading partner and the seventh-largest source of foreign investment.
PM Modi will also discuss the welfare of over 4.5 million Indians living in the UAE.
After the UAE visit, PM Modi will travel to the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy to strengthen India’s ties with European and Nordic nations.
In the Netherlands, the Prime Minister will meet King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima and Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
In Sweden, PM Modi will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and jointly address the European Round Table for Industry alongside European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
The Prime Minister will also attend the 3rd India-Nordic Summit in Norway before concluding his tour in Italy, where he will meet President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
