Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted citizens on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, marking the beginning of the Marathi New Year.

“Best wishes on Gudi Padwa!” he posted, highlighting the festival as a time of renewal, hope, and new beginnings.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his wishes, describing Gudi Padwa as a festival of enthusiasm and vitality.

Taking to X, he posted, “On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa, the sacred festival of enthusiasm and vitality, heartfelt greetings to all the people of the nation!”

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis conveyed his greetings, wishing for prosperity and progress in the year ahead.

“Wishing everyone a blessed Gudi Padwa! May this new year bring prosperity to every home and lead Maharashtra towards greater progress and collective growth,” he posted.
