Prime Minister Modi has voiced strong optimism ahead of his forthcoming State Visit to Israel.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Modi stated that he eagerly anticipates the trip and believes it will reinforce bilateral engagement between the two nations.
Responding on X to a message by Yair Lapid, Prime Minister Modi affirmed that the visit would enhance cooperation and mutual understanding.

Lapid had welcomed the Indian leader in Hindi, describing him as a steadfast friend of Israel and highlighting the deep-rooted camaraderie between the two countries.
This marks Prime Minister Modi’s second journey to Israel. It follows his landmark 2017 visit. That trip, however, unlocked fresh avenues in defence collaboration, agricultural advancement and water management initiatives.
He characterised the upcoming engagement as historic and expressed confidence that it would inject renewed vigour into the strategic partnership.
The visit has, however, generated visible enthusiasm within Israel.
The Jerusalem Post dedicated its front page to the occasion with the headline, ‘Namaste, Two Ancient Nations Open a New Chapter’.
Editor-in-Chief Zvika Klein shared the cover on social media, inviting readers to join in welcoming Prime Minister Modi.
In a symbolic tribute, Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, illuminated its façade in the colours of the Indian flag.
Prime Minister Modi acknowledged the gesture with gratitude and confirmed that he looks forward to addressing the lawmakers.
Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana shared images of the illuminated building, honouring the visiting dignitary.
During the visit, Prime Minister Modi will engage in substantive discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The dialogue will focus on science and technology, innovation, defence, security, trade, agriculture and water resource management.
He will also meet President Isaac Herzog to deliberate on regional and global matters.
Prime Minister Modi will become the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Knesset. He also plans to interact with the Indian diaspora, which continues to nurture this enduring partnership.
Additionally, PM Modi reiterated that the visit will consolidate strategic bonds and chart a resilient, innovative and prosperous future for both nations.
