According to the video, when PM Modi later visited the same memorial, his first request was to see the original note written by Vajpayee. After reading it, he copied every word into his personal diary.

Punjab BJP leader Naresh Garg, who narrated the incident, said PM Modi regarded Vajpayee’s words as a lifelong source of inspiration and believed his ideals should guide future generations.

Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister Modi paid homage to Vajpayee on his death anniversary, remembering him as an extraordinary statesman whose leadership and vision strengthened India.
