Patna Clash: Violence Erupts Between Students Linked To Khan Classes And Gyan Bindu

A tense situation unfolded in Patna’s Musallahpur Haat locality after a disagreement involving students connected to Khan Classes and Gyan Bindu Coaching Centre developed into a major confrontation.

Initial findings suggest that rival groups engaged in stone-pelting, causing fear and disruption across the area.

The incident created chaos in one of the city’s prominent education centres, prompting several shopkeepers to lower their shutters while residents and commuters hurried away from the scene.

The violence left a security guard working at Khan Classes injured after he suffered a head wound. He subsequently went to a nearby hospital for medical care.

The coaching institute also reported that the clash damaged its premises and allegedly led to the tearing of one of its banners.

Following reports of the disturbance, senior police officers reached the location. They brought the situation under control and began inquiries into the incident.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikeya K Sharma said investigators are treating the matter seriously. He added that police are collecting statements from witnesses and those directly affected.

Kadamkuan police station SHO Janmejay Kumar confirmed that both groups involved in the dispute had submitted complaints.

Representatives from each coaching institute have accused members of the opposing side of opening fire during the confrontation.

Investigators have not yet verified these allegations and are examining available evidence before reaching any conclusions.

Police officials stated that witness testimonies, forensic inputs, and video recordings will play a key role in determining the sequence of events.

Educator Khan Sir alleged that the attack targeted his institute because of its growing popularity and low-cost education model. He claimed that miscreants damaged the coaching centre and discharged firearms during the incident.

According to Khan Sir, CCTV recordings related to the incident have been handed over to the police. Authorities are examining the footage as part of their investigation.

The injured security guard has identified several suspected individuals.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby locations and have pledged to trace and arrest anyone found involved in the violence.
